When we think of a hero, we envision firefighters, doctors or police officers. Mike Evans, a Los Angeles Native and Former Louisville Cardinal, has been able to save hundreds of kids lives at his Lacedfacts Academy Learning Center. At Lacedfacts Academy, kids from low income communities are able to receive academic education through a homeschool program, athletic training, and further opportunities for beyond sports. At the age of 30 Mike has been able to give kids the opportunity to be on Sports Illustrated magazine, Oprah, Steve Harvey “Little Big shots”, Under Armor Campaigns, and be the face of the SuperBowl 2020 (Next 100) introduction coin toss commercial. Lacedfacts Academy has produce some of the youngest kids to receive college offers, Havon Finney 9 (Nevada University), Bunchie Young 10 (University of Illinois) and Ksani Jiles 11 (Nevada University). Only being open for 3 years, Lacedfacts Academy has over seven alumni with D1 offers and two individuals that are recognized as the top WR and LB in the country, Juniors in high school, Larry Turner having over 30 offers USC/Alabama/Clemson to name a few and USC commit Niuafe Tuihalamaka. Although Mike focuses on creating better students and athletes he also puts focus on creating better men within the community by doing community programs such as feeding the homeless.
